Janine Sides is a director, writer, and cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Upon graduation from USC in 2012 with an MFA in FIlm and TV Production, she has worked on a wide variety of projects from live action film and television, digital content, music videos, and documentaries. Some recent clients include Herzog & Company, The Esquire Network, Time Inc., OWN, Funny or Die, FUSE TV, PBS, Hallmark, Google, Pinterest, FOX Broadcasting, Subway Restaurants, and Pacific Theaters. A passion for Ms. Sides has been her work with The L.A. Derby Dolls. Janine has created culturally relevant videos meant to engage the franchise's existing fan base, as well as, spread awareness to the larger potential audience about this vibrant, fun, alternative sport.
Ms. Sides has also worked with the U.S. State Department as a digital Producer. During her tenure there, she helped create message oriented videos for online presentation and digital distribution to embassies and news outlets worldwide.
When Janine is not filming, she's playing Roller Derby.
